Ridge Community Support Services is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation created to strengthen the people and communities of the San Juan Ridge and surrounding areas.
Our work focuses especially on individuals and families experiencing poverty, homelessness, crisis, disability, isolation, or other circumstances that make everyday life harder to navigate.
But RCSS isn’t built around the idea that a community is divided into people who give help and people who need help.
Most of us will be both at different points in our lives.
Someone may need help filling out paperwork today and be the person volunteering at a community event six months from now. An elder who needs help maintaining their yard may have decades of knowledge to share with a child who comes to help.
That’s community.

RCSS exists to provide community support services, outreach, resource assistance, and opportunities for connection while strengthening community resilience and access to essential resources.
